Why does my DVD player selects disk

My DVD player does not play all disk

Hi,

Here is an image taken from the User Manual for your DVD player.

It shows the type of disks and the audio format that the player supports.

Take notice of the disclaimer shown which states:

Some DVD±RW/DVD±R or CD-RW/CD-R cannot be played on this unit due to the recording quality or physical condition of the disc, or the characteristics of the recording device and authoring software

Hi @Yusuf Toheeb,

You cannot get it to play all types of discs because it was not designed to do so.

It depends on the firmware that has been loaded into the player as to what discs that it can play.

If the manufacturer doesn't release any updated firmware to cover the other types of discs there's not much you can do.
