How do you repleace the keyboard. It has bubbled up and it looks like there are air pockets under it. The keys still work, but they are raised.

I tried to replace it today, I have a spare Droid and also the problem with the raised keys.

So i tried replacing the Keyboard today...

Its basically made up of three layers. The first one is the one you see and the one that starts to bubble up. The second one holds small metal discs which then provide the connection when you type. And the last one cant be taken off and is the counterpart of those small discs.

Everything is just glued together so it can easily be peeled off.

Even though I was able to replace the keyboard without any problems, it also looks and feels like new, its not usable anymore. I if I just touch it very lightly it starts typing like crazy ... i have no idea whats causing the problem but ill try to find it out.

Update

I got it, it seems to be a matter of having the keyboard very well aligned otherwise its just giving you garbage.

Anyways, it wasn't really complicated to do.
