How do you remove a green spot from screen?

I own a Samsung Ultra High Definition TV that I have had a little over a year and a half now. I have been very pleased with the overall quality of the product, but last night I noticed a small green dot/spot on the screen. I was wondering if there is a way to remove the green dot from the screen. Is this something that I can do on my own? Do I need to notify Samsung support? Or should I have a repair technician come out to do the repair?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Greg Hester sound slike a bad pixel. Give us your model number and consider posting some images of that spot. Yes, if you have warranty of the TV, use it.
