Top of keyboard area heats up, mostly the left and towards the screen

It heats up as soon as I turn my computer on. Also, recently it started making some noises and the battery runs out fast (from 100% to 87 in 15 minutes).

Also, after a few hours' use it slows down.

this can be a lot of issues. from what you are saying first check to see if your fan is running. where your keyboard is heating up is either right on top of the cpu or on top of the actual hard drive. most likely the cpu though. so check to see if the fan is working. also make sure that you do not have a lot of applications open making the cpu have to work. one way to do this is to open the task manager. ctl alt del. and see what your cpu is doing. if should never be in the red. if it is see what apps are open and close those that you do not need.
