Dishwasher drains out the water right after filling

Model GSD900G-01

The water supply is fine. But the water is pumped out what seems like simultaneously to filling. The DW calls for and gets water as it runs through the cycles, but it never gets to use it to wash or rinse.

Someone suggested an issue with the "drain solenoid"... stuck in the open position? Can this be checked and freed up, or tested for proper function? Or is the issue somewhere else possibly?

A malfunctioning float could cause the dishwasher to not fill with water. The float is located at the bottom of the dishwasher tub and acts as a safety device that prevents the dishwasher from over filling with water. The float rises with the water level in the dishwasher and when the proper level is reached, the float will trigger the float switch to turn off the water inlet valve. Check that there is no debris or foreign objects that might restrict the vertical movement of the float and that it engages the float switch located beneath the tub.

Wouldn't that cause the water inlet valve to remain open and overflow the dishwasher? Or if it was stuck "up" that no water would flow in?... As opposed to water being pumped out immediately?

If you have a dishwasher that goes for draining in the wrong time of the wash cycle big chance to be a defected turbidity sensor : bad turbidity sensor calls for drainage to replace the water with cleaner one .
