Front camera & ear speaker no longer working after screen replacement

I dropped my phone recently and shattered the screen. I purchased iPhone 6 LCD Screen and Digitizer and followed the iPhone 6 Front Panel Assembly Replacement guide to replace the screen.

After replacing and turning it on, it seems the front facing camera and the earpiece speaker are no longer working, the proximity sensor seems to be though (the screen automatically gets brighter and dimmer, and if I'm on a call, the screen turns off when I put the phone to my ear). I've opened the phone up again and have made sure that everything is secure and lined up.

If the proximity sensor works, then the ribbon connection to the logic is fine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Inspect the front camera ribbon cable connector to see if it is damaged. If it isn't then replace the front camera assembly (the one with the cable).

I would redue the part on the assembly guide that shows you how assemble the front facing camera and ear speaker - ensure that everything is snug and aligned properly as seen in the guide. When you go to boot the device instead of just turning your device on preform a soft reset to boot the device.

Sorry to say but when the front camera does not work it's either not plugged in properly or faulty front camera flex.
