Dead screen or motherboard

Good day. My laptop was connected thru HDMI to my TV when my cat jumped on it and felt it down and screen hit the fireplace and became black. There is only minor scratch on the screen. Laptop boots but screen is black even when HDMI is connected. I can boot in Safe mode and can see my Desktop when connected to tv thru HDMI. Please advise and help.
