Will replacing the logic board remove Apple ID lock?

I have purchased an iPad A1395 9.7" tablet ( probably because the former owner is no longer "with us" ). I have tried connecting the iPad to my laptop, using iTunes to reset it and so on and so on. Seems i need the apple id ( email address ) and password. Alass, there is no way short of a seance to get the information.

So ... to my question. Will replacing the logic board resolve this issue ?

Yes, but the data is stored on the logic board. This will also be the most expensive part to replace, since it will be removed from a working unit and sold on.

I would add you should return the iPad and get your money back as it will be cheaper in the long haul.
