right side of touch pad not responding

The touch pad that shows copy, scan, fax & apps, doesn''t work for the rigth side. When I touch scan it will only respond to the icon on left saying SD Card, not the computer icon. When I loaded paper & I hit ok it would not turn off, since it is also on the rigth side of screeen. Can that be repaired ?
