Suddenly slow performance, keyboard and touch pad not working

My macbook are suddenly become extremely slow where the boot up can take up to 5 mins, both keyboard and touchpad also failed to work anymore plus the fan are running at full speed. My current mac are running on a 512gb ssd with 8gb ram.

Tried to reinstall new osx on another ssd and the installation process also takes ages to reach the selection menu.

Can anyone please advice what might went wrong?

Update

I tried to open up the mbp and reinsert the cable for keyboard and trackpad.

Surprisingly the keyboard are now alive.

Then i tried to run diagnostics test , no problem found, and after restart the performace are back to normal but the trackpad still failed to work. I already ensure all connector are connected correctly and perform SMC Reset and PRAM reset.

Any more other thing i can do to fix that?

I suspect a failed hard drive/IR cable. On your model, Apple will replace, for free, this cable without question. Yours is the only model Apple will do this on, for free.

Thanks alot for your answer, appreciate if you able to explain how can a fail hard drive cable affecting keyboard and touchpad? Thanks again

he cable has nothing to do with the keyboard and touchpad. You didn't mention a problem with those. Have you had a water spill? Is your battery swollen?

by

There is no water spill and the battery is not swollen. Any how i will try to dismantle all the flex cables and reconnect again just to confirm there is no loosen cables
