Why do videos and music pause and play by itself when using headphone

I have the Ares 11.5" Nextbook tablet with the blue LED adaptable keyboard. For some reason everytime I try to use headphones or an AUX cord for an external speaker to watch videos on youtube or to listen to my music, it pauses and plays by itself continuously. It will even skip songs or videos by itself, It doesn't matter what song, volume level, angle or whatever it still does it. I will play a song or a video and not even 5 seconds it will pause and then play for another few seconds and then pause again and I have to press play again. It has done this since the day I bought it brand new. Please help!
