disassembling for cleaning the keyboard
The answer to my question included disassembling. I'm not sure how to disassemble to access the keyboard. I have changed the battery but that is all.
Is this a good question?

After you get to the keyboard, Here's how to replace it, the 2010 & 2011 are close to the same so this should work for you. I use and electric screwdriver to take the screws out, this really speeds the replacement.

This guide will get you down to the point where you can see and access the keyboard from below. Apparently everything else has to come out first to get access to the keyboard assembly.
