Just unplug that cable and plug it back in. I think it just may be loose. I hope I was helpful!

assuming the following;

-Your computer is fully booting,

-Your current screen is fully functional, and not a bad part,

1) Open up the screen panel, and ensure the connections are both clean and stable.

2) connect an external monitor, and see if you can get an image on that

2b) if you can, head to computer manager, and reload the drivers for your imaging hardware.

3) possible issue is with connectors on the bottom of the device, make sure those are properly connected.

4) there could be a GPU failure as well. (this can happen from overheating, shorting, or power surges)

No signal to external screen either. Checked connection. What is GPU

by

GPU is Graphics Processing Unit, and is normally integrated into the motherboard with laptops. It requires a very specific skillset to replace, and without a large amounth of microsoldering experience, i would not make the attempt personally, but have a computer repair store diagnose it, and get you a price.
