How to tell what screen this part is?

So I am generally new but have done a few repairs before myself. Well i just got this iphone 5s to fix and I ordered the screen which is what the consumer asked for. Someone has replaced this part before as there is sharpie written on the back metal plate saying 5s. Is there a way I can check what this part is in case it is a part for the wrong phone type? Like is there a code to look up or something? any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Other than that there are only 5C parts, that could be confused to work, but they have the large frame, it's pretty obvious they're forn5C

Thanks the part is a iphone 5s which i can tell from the plugs you shown. The lcd is just broken I guess the cables don't seem torn and the glass is fine. Thanks though.

It can happen. Goin through the last of my crappy knockoff iPhone 6+ displays. Brand new, shows up all black with a few colored lines on it, had to chuck it
