How do I find out the built-in harddrive before setup?

Might be an unusual question, but I reset my Macbook Pro to sell it and forgot checking the actual harddrive. I know it is an SSD that was built in lateron.

Update (12/28/2016)

Found part of the solution myself: One can startup in Recovery mode and use disk utility to at least find out the harddrive size.

Go here and enter your serial number and it will tell you what your machine shipped with.

As to your statement that it was an SSD that was added later on, unless you have the machine, there's no way to tell what you added without looking. Apple did not ship the 2010 models with SSDs'.

It probably shipped with a :

Standard Hard Drive: 320 GB (5400 RPM) Int. HD Interface: Serial ATA (3 Gb/s)
