From which MBP's can I get an upper case for my Late 2011 17-inch?

I have two Macbook Pro's 17-inch: one Late 2011 with a British keyboard, and one mid-2010 with a US Keyboard.

I don't like the British Keyboard so I want to swap the entire upper case to get that US keyboard onto my newer machine.

Is it possible to use the upper case of my mid-2010?

Or do I need to find a Late 2011 upper case?

Can I use an EARLY 2011 upper case for my Late 2011 Macbook pro?

Thanks in advance

The 2009-2011 models will work for you.

See the parts link on the repair guide:

MacBook Pro 17" Unibody (Mid 2010) Upper Case

MacBook Pro 17" Unibody (Early 2011) Upper Case

MacBook Pro 17" Unibody (Early/Mid 2009) Upper Case

MacBook Pro 17" Unibody Upper Case Replacement

Hi there, thank you for your response. I'm also wondering if I can swap the entire display assembly? I would like my mid-2010 anti-glare on my 2011.

If I'm not mistaken, the iSight on the 2011 model is better than the 2010. Do you think I can put the newer iSight inside my 2010 anti-glare assembly?

Or should I just put all my Late 2011 components into the mid-2010? Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot
