The remote is 2008 and works with my receiver. It no longer increases volume but the down volume and other buttons still work. I'm hesitant to take it apart. I found 2 small screws. I might not know what to do once I have it apart. Advise?

@jftordella , Jean, Below links will show how to disassemble remote and clean the button pads/board which may help resolve your volume button issue. Links may not be your exact model, but for the most part generic. Good luck.
