Is this worth fixing?

UN55KS8500FXZA-55" curved 4K SUHD

Screen was shot with a pellet gun in center of screen along lower edge. Embedded pellet was removed, leaving a bright white light with brightly colored starburst of about 2" diameter and vertical brightly colored lines that extend across the full height of screen. The 55" screen is divided in half with these vertical lines that are about 2-3" wide. TV still works and is only about 2 months old. Anybody know if this would be worth fixing and approximately what it might cost?

Thank you,

-steve

@stevieiwonder , Stevie, found 1 replacement screen for your TV 2nd link below probably over $1000.00 after shipping and taxes, which sort of tells me they may be a rare find, if you could find a good used screen then may be beneficial to make repair to cut down expenses. Always insure part is correct for your device before ordering. If you have belongings insurance and your deductible is not ridiculously high, you may want to try putting a claim in for new TV. I posted a link below for Samsung support if you would like to see if they can help out and a link for new TV priced at $1199.99. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

Yes, sounds like the fix is too close to the new TV price in this throw away world. I really appreciate your help. Thanks.
