Fan stopped working, can ifixit ;) or do I have to replace it?

My fan stopped working and i got this error code

4MOT/4/40000002: Exhaust-0

so my question is can i fix the current fan or am i forced to buy a new one?

simonstockas not really anything fixable on the fan itself. I'd replace it and re-evaluate for any issues after. Use this guide to get it done.

I removed the fan and shaked it. The result: A small plastic piece came out and i thought hmm i wonder where that came from... i put the original fan back in place and now it workes perfectly... so my new quest is to find out where the broken plastic piece belongs...

Take a set of pic's and post them here for us to see we might be able to ID it.

Probably from the battery, where the screws hold it in. This always seems to break apart
