Why isn't my smartdriver working?

My Black and Decker LI4000 Type 5 Screwdriver shows to be charging, but it suddenly didn't work when I took it off the charger and tried to use it.

Have you checked that the forward/reverse slider is not in the "locked position?

What direction is shown in the display window when you turn it on and try to use it?

Gears locked up bearings could be dislodged or pins out of place causing the barrel not to spin solution reassemble barrel
