First off
remove the battery and RAMdo not power up until the unit has been inspected and completely dried (days not minutes or hours) or you'll short the logic board and/or other parts.
If you open the unit following the proper guide and pack it in a desiccant for approx 72 hrs (changing the desiccant frequently) you should have it dry. By pack I mean in a container or bag, by desiccant I mean commercial from a pharmacy or rice, pasta something like that.
NO FANS or hair driers they can blow water into places it isn't already.

If the machine boots when dry, and you have display issues - it will require further diagnosis to detrimine if you have to replace the display control board or the LCD.
