My washing machine door won't open. Tried spinning again to make sure water had drained, but it started 'smoking'. I just want to get the clothes out. I've used the emergency drain, but this model doesn't have the emergency tap to use.
How do I open/remove the door?

Just try to force it. Pull as hard as you can on the handle whilst wiggling it up and down. As washing machines should never do this then it will be your only hope.
