I cant switch on my laptop

i cant switch on the my laptop until i remove the battery and i put it again....... what kind of the problem is this and how can i resolve it........???????

Let me get this straight, you have to remove the battery and re insert it for the computer to boot correct? If so does the compute show any signs of life when trying to power on like leds light up fans spin or just nothing
