@theop , Theo, Sounds like a problem with the forward/reverse switch, switch it back and fourth a bunch of times, may be stuck it the neutral position. The switch or gear drive assy. also may be damage and need replaced. If still under warranty return for repair/replacement/refund. This is in big part an American site and not a lot of Triton power tools or parts found here. Link to your manual and warranty below. Good luck.

Hi @theop ,

If you are in Oz there is a 3 year (36 month) warranty on the drill. Just read the warranty statement in the link that was provided by @lpfaff1 in his good answer as to what you have to do to get warranty service.
