Display Data Cable connection faulty?
Not long ago I replaced the LED driver board. while doing so, the display cable was difficult to disconnect and re-connect. Now the display never turns off and I have to remove the battery to get it to shut off (Hard drive is fine).
As it turns out, the LED driver board was not the problem, as I still have black shadows pointing up from the bottom of my screen (the original problem), so I've ordered a new LCD panel to replace it. I'm thinking the display data cable should also be replaced as possibly this is why my display won't shut down? could the display data cable have this effect if it was damaged or not connecting properly?
Is this a good question?

I don't understand why you need a photo - ? when my computer shuts down, the screen turns white. that's it.
it's pretty simple and straightforward.
when I changed out the LED driver board (2x actually), the display driver cable was pretty difficult to disconnect and when I last reconnected it, the connection seemed to be bent a bit. maybe something didn't connect just right? would that cause this?
