After latest iOS Update, home and lock buttons playing up?

This is happening to both me and my girlfriend.

When the device is locked, it'll reboot itself because when I go to unlock the device it says I need to enter passcode because touch ID is disabled after reboot.

Not only that but my lock and home button have become unresponsive at times and require more than one or two clicks before they actually perform any action.

Is anybody else experiencing problems like this after the latest update? My phone isn't old (around 4-5 months old) and my girlfriends is just a year old.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi Harvey,

Usualy this caused by uncompleted Update or power lost while updating, how ever i recommend you to

1-Backup your data using iTunes

2-After that restore your iPhone using iTunes

3-Try to remove the SIM card and use the iPhone for a while without the SIM card

4-Do not use non original charger or charging cable

if non of these works " replace the phone battery"

  • there are recall program for iPhone 6s because some iPhone 6s models has an issue with battery
