2.9mm Standoff Broken in Hole Help

iPhone 5 Audio Control and Power Button Cable Replacement - Refer to step 35 of this guide

The 2.9mm standoff screw located by the camera actually broke off in the hole. Any suggestions on how I can re-mediate this, besides obviously ordering new screws (mainly to address the screw stuck in the hole)?

You could try to "grind" a slot in the standoff so that you can remove it with a straight edge screwdriver. I would remove everything out of the phone so that a small slip doesn't damage anything else. Otherwise, you could try some needle nose pliers to get it going. Normally, you don't need too much force to get these standoffs going.

Can you get a good picture so that I have a better idea of what you are facing?
