You have accidentally turned on Zoom mode, which is an accessibility feature for people with poor vision.

Take 3 fingers, and double-tap them on the screen; it should return back to normal. See http://manuals.info.apple.com/en_US/iPho... page 238

He asked how to do a reset and I told him. You might want to use those downvotes a little more judiciously.

The subject of the question doesn't match with what he asked in the body -- should we edit it so that it matches up? From the body, he already reset it ("I have tried powering down a couple of times"), so I don't think that's actually what he's trying to ask.

Reset the iPhone by holding the sleep/wake button at the top right of the device and the home button at the bottom center of the face at the same time. Hold them both until you see the screen go black and the white Apple logo appear. When this happens, you can let go - the iPhone is rebooting.

Resetting the iPhone should not remove or delete any data or settings.

You could always restore it in iTunes if Mayer's answer doesn't work.

Thanks guys. The three finger tap trick did it for me! Wish I had known this hours ago!
