White screen on iMac 2011 27"

Hello everyone.

I have a big problem.

First of all, i know there are many of these threads about this problem, but i not manage to find a solution for me.

I have a iMac 27" mid 2011. Everything works fine, until i tried to install Bootcamp.

The installation went fine, and i could boot in Windows.

There was some Windows updates i will install, and Windows ask for reboot.

After that reboot, my iMac comes with only a white screen. and nothing else. And altso the chord sound.

I trid reset PRAM, and, COMMAND+S, D, Command+SHIFT+R+P and so on.

Nothing workes.

Is anyone have an idea?

A white screen usually indicated a problem relating to the hard drive. Try starting up holding down the option key and see if you can get to the repair partition. If so, run Disk Utilities.

I tried that. But it's not working. I worked with this for a long time, and an hour ago i decided to take out the HDD. Unfortinately one of the pins on the display ribbon broke, so i ordered a new one now. I will update later on the week, when i tried a new harddrive.

How did it go?

Sorry my late answer on this topic. As meyer said it was hard drive related. I took out the hard drive and formatted it from another computer. Then I put the hard drive back in and after that I could start my iMac again and install macOS from start
