bumper rails at underneath of traveller bag are broken

Hi,

(sorry as English is not my first language - I try to explain as good as I can)

the said bag was damage at air transit, both bumper rails at underneath of this huge and heavy load bag were broken and seperated from the bag. Unfortunately I missed to claim this damage to the airline.

I don't have warranty on the bag and neighter The North Face nor specialist retail dealers want to help me.

I just need to know where to get these "bumper rails" from very hard platic from and I then would take all of it to a shoemaker to make him riveting the new rails to the bag.

Does anybody hase an idea where to order such rails from?

All bag dealers refuse to sell single spare parts. I think this is a cartell to make people dumping bags with minor damages and sell new ones.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Regards

Frieder

I fixed it now with two small lines of heavy duty multiplex plywood which I got cutted in the home improvemenet store. I had to remove the rivets the old rails where attached and fixed the new plywood rails with furniture screws and nuts.
