HP laptop won't connect to wifi

My laptop won't connect to my wifi at home or university. All other devices connect without problem so it's the laptop not the wifi. This is a recent issue only the last month. Before this is it connected without any problems. The only way to connect to the internet is via on Ethernet cable. When I try to troubleshoot it says there is no problem.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi, Have you checked the WLAN adapter in Device Manager to see if it shows that it is working properly?

If it is do you 'see' any wireless networks to connect to?

What happens when you try to connect?

Hello Emily!

This is a problem that seems to happen with certain WIFI CHIPS.

Can you please run COMPLETE INTERNET REPAIR?

This program resets some settings and checks more than the build-in troubleshooter does in windows.

I am looking forward to your reply!
