My laptop starts and all lights start blinking but Screen doesnt

On starting my laptop it starts and all the Hardware starts like fan , HD etc. but on screen nothing is displayed .

This happens 10 out of 9 time s

Hi,

Try connecting an external monitor and see if there is a display showing on it.

Does the screen 'light up' at all? If not try shining a torch at an angle close to the screen and look closely to see if there is a display showing there e.g. like the desktop?
