phone screen flickering and/or vertical lines

The phone screen alternates between flickering in a light magenta shade and displaying vertical lines. Phone is completely usable, just now with shades of color tossed in the mix.

Sounds to me like a damaged LCD cable, but I haven't taken it apart yet. I've worked with electronics repair, just not iPhones. Point me to a guide?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Once any LCD cable or LCD gets damaged you pretty much need to get the screen replaced.

You may need a new screen or take the screen off and examine the connection cables of the ribbons and mother board. If the brass teeth are not perfectly aligned GENTLY drag a razor blade tip along then to realign them and CAReFULLY reconnect them

This could just be down to dirty contacts, you can try gently cleaning the contacts with a toothbrush whilst checking if any of the contact pins are bent or not aligned, you have to be very careful not to damage any of the pins.
