I connect my phone to my computer using my charging cable, however the icon does not appear on my computer. It has windows 10 and is a HP Pavillion. I wanted to remove and save the pictures I took with my camera

Hey!
I would check the cable and try using the cable that was provided by the manufacturer.
If your phone is running Android 5.0 and above, you should see a notification on your phone when you connect it to the computer. In this notification you are able to select how your phone should show up in your Computer, e.g as a camera, as a mass-storage device,...
