Multimedia dock not displaying on TV?

I have an ee-mt800b dock by samsung and its not displaying on the TV (Yes it is a 4K TV), it works with a mouse and keyboard and ethernet and powers the tablet but just no display on the telly.

anyone have any ideas?? i don't want to open it as its still under warranty.
