Why my MacBook Air wont charge?

Hi, last week I was working in my macbook air when my sister accidentally spilled half a glass of water all over the keyboard. The computer worked fine until it ran out of battery. When I looked for the charger and plugged it in to the computer, nothing happened, so I immediatly took it to the nearest mac store where they openned the computer and took out all the water. They told me to charge the computer in two days and try to turn it on. So I did, but the computer wont charge, intead the fans turn on with a loud noise then the starting white screen with the apple appears and the it shuts down.

Any ideas which migth be the problem? I hope the logic board is undammaged.

Answer this question I have this problem too

It probably short circuited the board, if you had a multimeter to test it that would help. try to see if voltage can go in and out of the battery in other words.
