Ack! Broken power switch!

My iPod touch had been in contact with some water a long time ago. I treated it with silica gel packs and everything worked fine... except the power button.

I've tried to dry the 'Touch for a weekend though the power button still remains as it is: broken. It hasn't been giving me a tough time (thank God for the auto-lock function) but its been periodically acting up on its own. As of now, there's no part for this. What can I do?

Okay, fine.

And I still have my 2nd generation iPod because it still runs, with the exception of the power button. And I plan to spend my money on other things.

Thanks anyways.
