Touch id no longer recognizes my thumbprint when case is on phone
My phone no longer recognizes my thumb print when the Spigen protective case is on the phone. When I remove the case, the touch id works. This has been going on for a few months but prior to that, the phone was working fine ( a little over a year old). I took the phone to an Apple Store and the phone passed all of the diagnostic testing. They had no explanation as to why this feature no longer works consistantly with the protective case on. I have all the latest updates and re-calibrated my fingerprint multiple times.

Did you try deleting that fingerprint and then re-adding it with the case on?

Fun fact:
Using a spigen case on iPhone 5s causes touch sensitivity to be decreased during charge. Works perfectly fine with it off.
I have no explanation as well. I'm just as clueless as them.

Really? I've never used a 5S case but I put neo hybrids on all my phones. Never had an issue.
Stuff like this drives me nuts. Perfectly good case, perfectly good phone, no reason they shouldn't be a perfect pair.

I did delete the fingerprint and re-submit a new fingerprint several times including at the Apple Store.
The funny thing is, the fingerprint recognition worked fine for the first several months I had the phone. Then, suddenly, for a day or two, it was sporadic then quit working all together. When I take the case off, it works fine. I thought the issue might resolve when I downloaded IOS 10 but that made no difference.
