Will not turn on, charges with orange and green light on Magsafe.

MacBook Pro "Core i5" 2.6 13" Mid-2014

When hooked up to Magsafe to charge it will make a startup sound (sometimes) and will not turn on. This started happening at the beach (inside the room, wasn't taken outside in sand or water.) I have tried the reset with the key combination. Upon looking more into it sand was in the crack between the body of the computer and the screen. What could this be doing? I refuse to send it off to Apple. UPDATE: I took it all apart and nothing seemed off and it was mostly clean. I will attach some pictures if anyone can tell something from them that's off.

Sounds like a logic board issue. I would open it up, and clean off any debris, water, or corrosion inside. When cleaning the logic board, use 99% isopropanol. If this doesn't solve the issue, you will probably need your logic board fixed or replaced.

I was thinking this was a possible problem, I have another MacBook that had a spill but still works(battery is shot). I never got around taking them apart due to not have the correct tools to do the job with but I just ordered the tool kit with all the extras to take one apart today. Hopefully this will fix the issue with it. Thanks for the reply.

If you don't care check out the pictures I updated this post with. Nothing was really dirty or corroded. I'm not sure what could be wrong with it other than a dead Logic Board.

Did you found any solution? Mine doesn't make a startup sound anymore, the fan isn't turning but I have also orange and green light on magsafe. Tried to replace the battery didn't work

I actually took it to a local I.T. repair store and they said today that they also believed it was a bad logic board.
