Where is the wifi chip on my Galaxy tab S 8.4 wifi?
The Wifi is broken (switch greyed out, won't turn on). I believe the chip has failed and am looking to replace it. Do I need a new main board?
Is this a good question?

@alstein it is under an EMI shield. See attached image
The IC itself is a BCM4354KKUBG
Unless you have the ability and the tools to reball this IC you may consider a new board, a reflow or send the board of to someone to repair it for you. Replacement motherboards are available at places like this.
