Why isn't my keyboard working?

I accidentally spilled some water on my MacBook keyboard, while I was wiping it off I was pressing down on some keys. It seemed fine after the spill, the trackpad was working just fine. It wasn't until I came back to my computer later and tried to log in that I realized that the keyboard wasn't working. The trackpad still works and so does the power button, but that's it. I'm stuck. Can't log in since I can't type and don't know what to do! I tried pushing the option key 5 times but nothing happened. How can I fix this?

Buy a new keyboard, plug it in and see if the keys work with the new keyboard. It is common for the power button to work, but not the keys, and vice versa.

If it works fine with a new keyboard plugged in, it will need to be replaced. The keyboards are riveted into the casing, so before doing all this, search "macbook retina keyboard replacement" on Youtube to see if you will able to do this :)
