MacBook Pro will not load any user and shows a white screen

MacBook Pro 13-inch Early 2011

My MBP starts up fine but when you click the user to load (enter password etc) it just loads a white screen. Normal notifications pop up but the screen is white.

Any advice?

Options

Start up holding down the option key. Select the repair partition and run Disk Utility.
