great pic no sound?
Sanyo DP42841 manufactured October 2011 - great picture and all options are working, except there is no sound. Is it worth repairing?

@dsand , Debbie, Try a reset by unpluging TV for 5 min's and plug back in and try. After reading through Sanyo forums concerning the no audio, it is suggested, it is fault of amplifier which is attached to main board in which case main board needs replaced/repaired. Check the attached link for more info. and part. Good luck.

On mine I just hooked up sound to the audio inputs on the side of the tv and hooked the rca cables to my stereo works fine. If it's making a popping noise turn the volume all the way down and turn tv off and back on. The headphone/computer speaker jack might work too.

We just tried this . Still no sound. Is there anything else we cam try? It's a Sanyo LED hdmi model FW40D36F

Do you get audio output from the headphone jack on the back (side?) of the TV?

I just fixed it I think:) I pushed the power button for 15 sec Then unplugged the TV. (Oppisite of above instructions). I left it unplugged for 15-20 minutes. Plugged back in then pushed power button once.
