Right Fan replacement isn't the same unit I am removing

My right fan is noisy. It is a KDB04505HA, with dull colored wires (black, tan, blue,

green)and ends in a black plastic connector that presses onto the logic board.

My replacement part has the same number, but the wires are different (black, blue, green, red)and ends in a white plastic connector that does not press onto the logic board.

How can I get the one that fits?

I've replaced several of these fans with never a problem. Where did your fan come from? There's a possibility that the same part number fan could be used in different machines with different wiring. What are the last three letters of your serial number (this is for exact identification of your machine).

Uploading a photo of the original and new connector would help us help you.

UPDATE

It appears the part number is for the internal fan and not the housing. Here are five different fans all with the same part number. So you must have the correct machine part number to get the correct fan:

Yes, the fan numbers are the same but the wire connectors are different. I have had my best luck buying on eBay. Only because I can look at the posted pictures of what I am purchasing. I will not buy unless I can see the actual connectors of the unit for sale. And again, right is right and left is left, this you need to check out also. Some seller describe right fans as left and vise versus. Check the location of the wires and direction of the wires to determine the one you need.
