'07 Equinox jerks when stopping

I bought an '07 Equinox recently. The previous owner had it sitting for 5 or 6 months. I am having an issue. The Service Tire Monitoring System and Service Stabilitrak warnings are on. The ABS light was on for a week and suddenly went out. The TPMS isn't registering my rear tires. When I drive over 40-45 MPH and step on the brake at a light sometimes the car will jerk. Kind of feels like I ran over a small bump. Sometimes it's hardly noticeable, others it shakes the whole car. Any ideas?? No check engine light and no other issues with the Equinox.

@openendedgtr , Nicole, 2007 Equinox Service Stabilitrak warnings are on possible problems: wire/plug/faulty wheel speed sensor, bad wheel bearing, sticking brake caliper, etc. Vehicle will need to be scanned by a scanner that is able to read all modules not just engine codes to pin point the fault/codes and aid in diagnosing fault. Some auto parts suppliers offer free code reading pepboys, Nappa, Advance auto etc. but not sure if they can read service codes for TC or stabiltrak. May have to have a good technician scan, diagnose and estimate repair.

Good luck.
