Hi, Try connecting an external monitor to the micro HDMI port of your laptop and see if you have a steady display on it.

This has happened to me, although it was a Sony desktop LCD monitor.

It seemed to me, like the monitor was losing the sync signal (which syncs the timing between the GPU drawing the screen and the monitor displaying it.)

I connected the secondary monitor from my gaming computer, to the affected computer and the problem went away. I connected the Sony monitor to my gaming computer as the second display, and still didn't see the problem, so I'm not entirely certain what happened. I suspect my Radeon HD5700 was putting out a stronger and/or cleaner sync signal.

Since we're dealing with a laptop here, troubleshooting options are more limited. If I was approaching this as a warranty repair case, in my professional life, I would start with the display. Unless a video error screams "video card failure" like a clear display of a corrupted image, everything else is in either the cable connecting the display to the motherboard or in the connections between the controllers on the edges of the LCD film and the LCD film itself.
