Retrieving data from ForScore on Apple iPad

My IPad froze...I suspect it ran out of memory...it was close. It froze at the apple screen. It would not power on or off. Initially ipad indicated it needed to be hooked up to a PC with iTunes. I took it to Apple and they said I would have to take it to a company that specializes in retrieving data. I am only interested in sheet music that is stored in an app called ForScore. It is not backed up to the cloud. I contacted one retrieval company and they quoted me anywhere from$700 to $1000 for the service. That's just crazy. Does anyone know of a reputable company that does this or can someone direct me on what to do? I do not have a computer with iTunes. Neither the geek squad at Best Buy nor the geniuses at Apple tried to hook it up to iTunes. They said it wouldn't work because they couldn't get it to turn on.

Answer this question I have this problem too

@merryone what has anyone really done to determine what happened to your iPad? Have you tried to charge it? How do you usually charge it? Other than taking it to all those places, what has anyone tried?

You can consider yourself lucky if you can actually extract data from it at all, regardless of the price. Don't push your luck.
