Getting grinding noise from system even after cleaning the fan.

I am getting wired grinding type noise from from system. I even cleaned my fan but still while getting that sound.

I replaced old hhd with the new SSD hhd a few months back. Now i m not sure if the sound is coming from ssd or any other part of the system.

Can you help me in this regard.

Options

Since the SSD has no moving parts, you can eliminate it.

A. See if you may have a disk in your optical drive.

B. Replace your fan.

Agreed grinding would likely be motor bearings. no motor in an SSD. that just leaves the optical drive and the fan(s)
