steering rack and pinion replacement

I have a 2005 grand am and the rack and pinion is leaking steering fluid. the Haynes manual (general one) says I can remove without lowering the subframe; however, I can't seem to locate the mounting bolts and also find it very difficult to reach the power steering lines at the rack. I am presuming it will be easier if I lower the subframe but want to make sure and any other advice you have would be appreciated.

Thanks

@bkblatz ,Barry, it would be very difficult to access the rack and remove with out at least loosening and letting the rear sub frame/cradle hang down. Complete instruction can be found at the forum link below, 2nd vid. link also may help show you what you may be in for.. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
