Magsafe light only turns on when MacBook is sideways or upside down.
Also Macbook is very slow when cold, needs to be warm to work properly, lately magsafe light does not turn on when the macbook is on level surface, it only turns on and I can turn on the macbook when it's upside down or sideways, I know for a fact that the battery needs replacing as it does not charge up, MacBook only work with magsafe, is my logic board dead or power board?, thanks for the help. Never had a liquid spill on it of any kind.

I have a feeling there is liquid damage on the board. If someone does open it they can tell via microscope or inspection of the logic board.

No liquid damage it just started acting up about a month ago, have it since new,thanks for the reply.

I have a similar problem, my one does not charge unless I try different positons, the green light can be on, but it may not charge the battery.
do you know the name of the component?

i´ve changed the component is the i/o board, it was easy and cheap. Problem was solved
